How to Use the Power Measurement Game
Basic Controls
Click on any probe (red) or current transformer (blue) to select it
Press keys 1-3 to connect to phases L1-L3, or press 4 to disconnect
Use the Hold/Run button to pause the waveform display
Signal Controls
Adjust voltage and current amplitudes using the sliders
Modify phase angles to simulate different power conditions
Watch how changes affect the power measurements in real-time
Game Levels
Level 1 (Training): All phases are clearly labeled for learning
Level 2 (Phase Detective): Phase order is scrambled - use your measurements to identify the correct sequence
Understanding the Display
Green trace: Voltage waveform
Cyan trace: Current waveform
Magenta trace: Instantaneous power
Dotted lines show power zero-crossings
Pro Tip: In Level 2, you can identify phases by comparing the phase relationships between voltage and current. Remember that in a balanced three-phase system, phases are separated by 120°.
