Inv Qty

Sets the number of PV inverters connected to the system

Range: 0-60
Note: If set to 0, it will only work with hybrid inverters

Hyb Qty

Sets the number of hybrid inverters connected to the system

Range: 0-10
Note:
  • Hybrids are always addressed with even numbers (2,4,6,8, etc.)
  • If set to 0, it will only work with PV inverters and your addressing of PV is sequential

Exp Lim

Sets the maximum export limit for the system

Range: 0 to 6000A or -10MW to 10MW
Note: Value unit depends on Current Ctrl setting (A or W)

Per-ph Lim

Enable/disable per-phase power limiting

Max Ctrl

Maximum control percentage

Range: 0-110%
Note: Can be controlled via Modbus for dynamic adjustment
Examples:
  • System has 10kW of inverters with 5kW export limit
  • Circuit breakers only rated for 8kW
  • Set Max Control to 80% to ensure inverters never exceed 8kW
  • System will still maintain export limit while respecting max control

Buffer

Control deadband

Range: 0-9999W/0-99.99A
Note:
  • Useful for unstable loads which are highly dynamic
  • Larger buffer = more stable but could sit at lower generation
Examples:
  • System has 10kW of inverters with 5kW export limit
  • Set buffer to 500W
  • System will increase power when export exceeds 5500W
  • System will decrease power when export is below 4500W

Ctrl cmd

Communication protocol selection

Note:
  • 7E protocol works on all grid-tied inverters
  • Modbus broadcast does not work on all inverters (often need firmware update)
  • 7E protocol is known to cause issues with hybrid inverters and cause PRO inverters to freeze
